Only one day at Madagui is like traversing the entire river delta of the Mekong as you can enjoy delicious fruits of over 30 types and over 80 varieties gathered in the temperate climate of the forest city. With the advantages of natural soil and climate, every type of fruit tree from the various nearby regions can be grown in Madagui. You can visit the orchards to see fruit such as jackfruit, lemon, plum, black strawberries and even fruits notoriously difficult to grow such as mangostreen and durian. Of particular interest is the chance to compare the differences between varieties of one single fruit. For example, guava is not limited to one variety but has seedless, pink pulp, Thai, xa li, and purple varieties. Or pomelo, where you can identify green skin, orange leaf, Long, Nam Roi, sugar and even leather skin pomelo. With mango the varieties abound with Hoa Lac, Chu, and even strange varieties such as Khieu Xa Voi, Rainy Season, Xiem and Taiwanese mango.
